BIO
My name is Cari Morris and I am a multi award-winning freelance sports journalist. I recently graduated from the University of Salford with First Class Honours in Broadcast Journalism.
My life has always revolved around rugby as I grew up in Wales and New Zealand, and have relatives who have played the game professionally. After attending the 2011 Rugby World Cup in Auckland using my father's press pass, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in sports journalism.
Since moving back to the UK in 2012 I have thrown myself into the world of journalism. After graduating from university I secured a job at a production company called Badger & Combes - a role that has opened many doors for me.
Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of working for the BBC, Salford Red Devils, Manchester Evening News, Sale Sharks, RugbyPass and more. I've experienced working at some crazy venues; from Old Trafford, to Anfield and back home in the Principality Stadium.
